Un mondo d'amore (2002)

The film deals with the true events which happened in 1949 in Italy, when then schoolteacher Pier Paolo Pasolini was accused of having seduced three paesan boys.

Alla fine degli anni Quaranta Pier Paolo Pasolini (all'epoca poeta, insegnate e segretario cittadino del PCI) viene incriminato per corruzione di minorenni ed atti osceni per aver convinto, nel corso di una festa nel paesino friulano di Ramello, alcuni adolescenti ad appartarsi con lui. Senza violenza né denunce i carabinieri procedono contro di lui sulla base di 'voci di paese'. Additato da tutti come 'depravato', Pasolini vede il suo mondo crollare di colpo. Viene espulso dal Partito e sospeso dal Provveditorato. Inoltre suo padre Carlo Alberto (eroe di guerra) cade in uno stato di comprensibile depressione. Costretto a 'cambiare aria', Pasolini parte con la madre alla volta di Roma. Qui la donna trova lavoro come domestica mentre Pier Paolo non riesce, per mesi, ad avere un impiego. In questo difficile periodo Pasolini sogna e teme che sia arrivata la fine.
Un Pasolini pieno di sogni di gloria, ma anche di dubbi. Un giovane alle prese con la prima incriminazione per corruzione di minorenni e atti osceni. Con una narrazione asciutta e delicata, Un mondo d'amore racconta il momento in cui Pierpaolo Pasolini sta per diventare un caso politico e morale a livello nazionale, ricostruendo atmosfere e umori dell'Italia del dopoguerra. Il film è ambientato nell'inverno del 1949, quando Pasolini (Arturo Paglia) nel corso di una festa di paese a Ramuscello, nella campagna friulana, aveva convinto alcuni ragazzini ad appartarsi con lui. Non vi fu violenza, non vi fu denuncia, ma i carabinieri procedettero sulla base di alcune voci. Disoccupato, umiliato, espulso dal Partito Comunista, e senza un soldo, accompagnato dalla madre Susanna (Guia Jelo), Pasolini partì per Roma. E per un anno e mezzo anche nella capitale non riuscì a trovare un’occupazione.

BOARDERS NI KUYA (2009)

Young Jonard is a discreet gay who works as a caretaker for his cousin's (Muhjang) boarding house for students and young male professionals. Not bad for a soft porn gay movie. I am hoping to get a DVD Rip copy for this film, a fine copy for Jeff Luna's frontal scene would be amazing. Jeff Luna is so hawt in this movie. Acting is not that great but intimate scenes with him and the other guy is smoking hot. Also the threesome scenes with the guys is male hawtness. Super hawt!

Homosexuality in the Orthodox community is the subject of a very dark and disturbing Israeli film, Eyes Wide Open (Einaym Pkuhot) which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. Aaron Fleishman (Zohar Shtrauss) is a father of 4 who takes over the family kosher butcher shop following the death of his father. Aarons observant world is turned upside down with the arrival of a young Yeshiva student Ezri (Ran Danker). When Aaron and Ezri begin spending time together, Aaron is quickly ostracized within the Orthodox community. Confronted by Rabbi Vaisben (Tzahi Grad), Aaron declares he was dead before meeting Ezri. We see how quickly social control turns violent and ugly in the Orthodox community when Ezri is forced to leave. Eyes Wide Open is set during a dark and wet winter in Jerusalem. Rain and the darkness of night are used as metaphors for the ritual of cleansing and the omnipresent pressure to conform in the Orthodox community. It has a strong cast and delivers a powerful message in a country divided by debates about the growing influence of the Orthodox Jewish community.

Amazingly, the ad is successful, attracting the attention of a man (whom is here called only "the Flesh"), and soon, our "hero" and his prospective dinner are frolicking in a blissful state of lovemaking, cuddling, eating, sleeping...doing everything together that a "normal" couple would do...all as a preface to the...ahem...atrocities to come.
